What this backtest shows

Compare ApePredictor's historical buy decisions with buying every eligible BAYC sale. Each entry is paired with the next verified sale of the same Ape.

Data scope: Legacy + current predictions, combined just like the performance page.

P&L scope: Completed sale pairs, in ETH, before fees and gas. Entries without a later sale remain open.

How this backtest works

Both strategies use predictions recorded before the entry sale and the same next verified sale as the exit. Win rate, median return and holding time use completed pairs only. Entries with no later sale have an unknown outcome, not zero profit.

No fees, royalties, gas, execution assumptions or capital limits are included. These are historical sale outcomes, not the returns of a funded trading portfolio.

Prediction recording paused between the legacy and current periods; verified exit sales during that gap can still complete earlier entries.
